Katherine Heigl opens up to everyone on her "white bubble childhood" and how it's affected her parenting style for the children of her adoptive parents who are multiracial. In an interview, the "Firefly Lane" actress, along with "Grey's Anatomy" actress shared her looks didn't bother her, however, after talking to her adoptive sister in South Korea about how society treated them, she became conscious of the differences the two were. "I asked Meg whether she felt different when she went out with our parents and those who went out alone. Meg replied "Oh I do, each and every occasion!" Heigl told Parents, "That made me realise that I had been so ignorant." The actress said that she was upset, but she felt that she had to channel her anger to help adopt her daughters. Heigl is married to Josh Kelley for 13 years they have a son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. Their daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009; Adalaide is a Black 8-year-old girl who adopted in the year 2012.
